One of our favourite jobs of last year came in just before Christmas when we were asked by the wonderful Holly & Co. to make the award plaques for their Independent Awards (see photo above).
Having long been an admirer of Holly Tucker, and the work she does shining light on the small and independent business community, it was an honour to be involved.
We pride ourselves on helping clients to produce bespoke, beautiful and sustainable awards.
Our philosophy is that if you are going to reward someone, you should present them with something which they'll be proud to display prominently in their home, shop or office. And give them something which will has also had minimal environmental impact through its manufacture.
We think that sustainable materials are much more beautiful too.

Awards can also be practical and we have etched re-usable metal flasks and food containers, such as those from Chilly's bottles pictured below.
Planning your awards with Cut By Beam:
- Email us any design ideas or screenshots of awards you like.
- Tell us what sort of materials you want to use. e.g. FSC certified plywood, Grown In Britain oak, recycled acrylic.
- Share your budget with us so we know how economical or extravagant you want to be.
- Tell us your deadline. Ideally more than 2 weeks if we need to source materials or help with artworking.
